Hi-level Inputs and Tiffany RCA’s allow this amplifier to be easily integrated into any existing audio setup and ensure optimal signal transfer for crystal clear sound. The ION1000.4D’s miniature size and surface mount component technology allows it to be placed almost anywhere in your build without taking up too much space.
The full variable crossover switch lets you customize your audio settings to your preferences for enhanced audio clarity across all frequencies. Fine tune these levels with the convenient remote level knob control!
Surface mount component technology makes this amplifier highly resistant to vibrations, ensuring stable performance even on rough terrain. Additionally, protective coating prevents moisture corrosion on the PCB, guaranteeing longevity and durability.

Wish they had these when I did my install a couple years ago! Full of power and crystal clear. Had a crescendo S4 and loved it but this out performs it. Price to performance you can’t beat it and the pictures don’t even justify how compact this thing actually is. It will literally fit anywhere and is super light. I’m very impressed with this amp so far, It’s been about a month. Couldn’t have asked for a better speaker amp and the price was very nice. The ONLY downfall I had was because of its ultra compact size was wire install, everything is so close together. A little bit of patience and it was ready to go! Would definitely buy again if I ever need another one! Thanks DS18 l, fantastic product for any install. Also if you are using it for midranges it does not have BP filter, nothing an external crossover can’t fix :)
I was waiting for DS18 to come up with an amp small and powerful enough to be able to fit two inside the fairing of my Harley so, I was very excited when I saw the ION line at Daytona Bike Week. At that time, I had everything DS18 except for the amps and although I was happy with my system, the amps I had were not water resistant plus I wanted to have everything the same brand. The 1000.4 amp looks well constructed, it feels solid and it performs as it should. My only complaint and the reason why I did not give it 5 stars is because it advertises having tiffany style RCA connectors and mine came with regular ones. I put an order for a 1600.4, let's see if this one comes with it... Overall, I'm satisfied with my purchase.

It sits fairly flush in the carpet and is made out of thick enough steel that luggage or groceries won't hurt it.
I ordered the wrong speaker.. I am not going to say anything bad at all!! I did a return request, got my approval on it, ordered the correct one for my box, and had it here in my Jeep in 72 hours.. Love DS18 and can not wait for my next purchase!!

Being limited in my 2019 BMW 530i I was able to pair this with an aftermarket amp and sub and let me say that needing this is an understatement. Tuning the frequency with the stock system is not possible but this made a night and day difference. The Bluetooth adjustability is also the icing on the cake! Even though I am using this for a single channel I eventually plan on using the remaining.

These are great speakers just what I was looking for. 2007 ultra classic Aquatic AV head unit currently no amp and these things are very loud. Now I will add 2 more to the back
